Registration Renewal Near
Sunset Rd & Mountain Vista
The notice came in the mail, the deadline is on the calendar, and your vehicle still needs the emissions test before the Nevada DMV will process the renewal. If you are in Green Valley North, Whitney Ranch, or anywhere along the Sunset Road corridor, this hut takes care of both steps in a single stop.
The hut is at 4665 E Sunset Rd in the 7-Eleven parking lot, on the west side of Sunset across from Ethel M Chocolates and Smith’s. Pull in for the smog check, and if your vehicle passes, registration renewal can follow right there. The Nevada DMV receives the smog result electronically and mails your new sticker to the address they have on file. No appointment needed. Walk-ins only.
Emissions Test First, Renewal in the Same Visit
Many Clark County registration renewals require a current emissions test before the Nevada DMV will process the renewal. At the Sunset & Mountain Vista hut, you pull in for the smog check and, if your vehicle passes, registration renewal can follow in the same visit. The smog result goes to the Nevada DMV electronically. Your new registration sticker is mailed by the Nevada DMV to the address they have on file. If you have moved recently, let the team know during the visit so the address can be updated before the paperwork processes.
Everything You Need for a Smooth Renewal
- Your Nevada renewal notice, which tells you exactly what this renewal cycle requires
- If the notice did not arrive: your current registration card or your vehicle information
- Current Nevada insurance documentation for the vehicle
- Your vehicle, since many Clark County renewals require an emissions test done on-site
If your renewal situation is outside the ordinary, like a suspended registration, an out-of-state vehicle, or an unresolved lien, call (702) 436-5346 before your visit so we can confirm what your situation requires.
