How many Smog Busters locations are there?
There are 32 Smog Busters locations across Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas. 31 huts do smog checks, and most also handle Nevada DMV paperwork. N Buffalo & W Vegas Drive handles DMV paperwork only and is temporarily closed.
Do I need an appointment for a smog check?
No. Pull in at any open hut during its hours. Most smog checks are done in 15 minutes or less. For DMV paperwork, call the hut first and we’ll tell you what to bring.
How do I find a hut on my route?
Tap Use My Location at the top of this page, and the list sorts itself so the huts around you come first. You can also scroll to your part of the valley, then tap a hut for its address, phone number, and directions.
Can I get a smog check and DMV services in the same visit?
Yes, at most huts. Pass your smog check and we can renew your registration on the spot, with no renewal notice needed. Nevada DMV mails your new tags. Title transfers and other paperwork can start in the same stop.
Do hours differ by location?
Most huts are open Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm. A few differ: W Flamingo & Cimarron closes at 5:30pm on Thursdays, Boulder Hwy & Basic is open Sundays, Owens & Eastern closes at 5pm on weekdays, and Owens & Eastern and Las Vegas Blvd N & Cheyenne close at 2pm Saturday. Each hut’s page lists its exact hours.
Which locations do smog repair?

Where can I get a diesel smog test or a salvage inspection?
Both happen only at E Sahara & Atlantic, 2711 E Sahara Ave, across from the Nevada DMV Sahara office.
