You’ll find us at 5180 Blue Diamond Rd in The Chicken Shack parking lot — easy access whether you’re coming off the 215 Beltway at Decatur or heading south from Cactus. Smog checks take under 15 minutes. Standard Nevada DMV paperwork is handled on site. No appointment needed, walk in Monday through Saturday.
Where to Find Us
The hut is at 5180 Blue Diamond Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89139, in The Chicken Shack parking lot at the corner of Blue Diamond Road and Decatur Boulevard. Pull right up — there’s no walk-in lobby or waiting room. The technician comes to your driver-side window.
Coming from the 215 Beltway, exit at Decatur and head north a short distance to Blue Diamond. If you’re coming from Mountain’s Edge or Rhodes Ranch, Blue Diamond Road takes you directly to the lot. The location sits in the southwest corner of the valley, convenient to Enterprise, Coronado Ranch, Highlands Ranch, and Sovana.
Smog Check at Blue Diamond & Decatur
This is a 1G-certified smog check station. That means your vehicle gets the standard state-required emissions test — the same test required for Nevada registration renewals. Results are electronically filed with the Nevada DMV when your vehicle passes, so you don’t have to submit anything separately.
Most visits wrap up in under 15 minutes. Regulars report 5-minute visits when it’s quiet. No appointment needed — pull in any time the hut is open.
