Driving an older car? We test those too, and the test works the same on a brand-new one. Most smog checks take 15 minutes or less with no appointment, and our analyzer sends a passing result straight to the Nevada DMV.

Registration due? We renew it in the same visit. You pay our $10 fee plus what you owe the DMV, and the DMV mails your tags to the address on file. You don’t need your renewal notice. We find your car by the VIN on your door placard or windshield plate.

Driving a diesel? Diesel testing is done at our E Sahara & Atlantic hut, 2711 E Sahara Ave.

Nevada DMV Services at Nellis & Sahara

Plate fell off, got stolen overnight, or peeled so badly it can’t be read? Driving without a readable plate is an easy way to get pulled over. We handle lost and stolen plate paperwork here, with no DMV appointment. Call (702) 894-4171 first and we’ll tell you what to bring, then we submit the paperwork to the Nevada DMV for you. Bought a car from a private seller? Getting the title into your name starts here. Bring the signed title, bill of sale, and your ID, and we file the transfer. The DMV mails your new title, which can take about 6 weeks.

Moved to the east side from another state? We take care of your Nevada registration at this hut. Your new plates and documents come back here, and we call you as soon as they arrive. Most registrations take 7 to 10 business days, with 2-day and 4-day expedited options if you’re in a hurry.
