Smog Check at Arroyo Grande & American Pacific

Pull in at the Shell, hand over your keys, and the Nevada emissions test usually takes 15 minutes or less. A pass is sent from our analyzer straight to the DMV.

Registration due? We renew it in the same visit. You pay our $10 fee plus what you owe the DMV, and the DMV mails your tags to the address on file. You don’t need your renewal notice. We find your car by the VIN on your door placard or windshield plate.

Driving a diesel? Diesel testing is done at our E Sahara & Atlantic hut, 2711 E Sahara Ave.

Car didn’t pass? You leave with your test results, so you know what needs fixing. Call (702) 719-6645 and we’ll point you to one of our 4 repair locations.

Nevada DMV Services at Arroyo Grande & American Pacific

Want a plate that says something about you? We help you put together your personalized plate application at this hut and submit it to the Nevada DMV, with no DMV appointment. The DMV makes the plates and mails them to your address, which can take 10 to 12 weeks. Call (702) 719-6645 with your plate idea first.

Selling the old car once the new plates are on order? The buyer needs your signed title. Buying instead? Bring the signed title and a bill of sale, and we start the transfer here, then the DMV mails the new title in about 6 weeks.

Just moved to Henderson? Plates for out-of-state and new registrations come to this hut, usually in 7 to 10 business days, and we call you to pick them up. Personalized plates are the one exception, because those are mailed to you.
