Pull up at our hut adjacent to U.S. Llantera. You don’t need an appointment, and most smog checks wrap up in 15 minutes or less. Your result goes to the Nevada DMV electronically. If your car doesn’t pass, our 2G tech can go over what failed and your repair options before you leave.

Registration due? We renew it in the same visit. You pay our $10 fee plus what you owe the DMV, and the DMV mails your tags to the address on file. You don’t need your renewal notice. We find your car by the VIN on your door placard or windshield plate.
Driving a diesel? Diesel testing is done at our E Sahara & Atlantic hut, 2711 E Sahara Ave.

Once your car passes, or your waiver comes through, you can renew your registration right here. The test, the repair, and the renewal all end at one hut.
Picked up a used car from a private seller? Test it here first, then hand us the signed title, the bill of sale, and your ID. We send in the transfer, and your new title arrives by mail from the DMV, which can take about 6 weeks.
Moving here from another state? We register your car in Nevada at this hut. Your plates and documents are delivered here, and we’ll call you, usually within 7 to 10 business days. 2-day and 4-day expedited options are there if you need them sooner.

Yes. The test always comes first. If your car doesn’t pass, our 2G tech looks at what the emissions system is reporting and walks you through repair, SFCC, and waiver options.
My repairs passed $450 and the car still fails. What now?
You may qualify for a one-year Nevada DMV waiver. The car has to fail, get its emissions repairs at a 2G station like this one, and still fail after at least $450 in repairs tied to what failed. Smoking vehicles and tampering don’t qualify. Our tech helps with the paperwork.
