How the Smog Check Visit Works
A smog check can fit into a trip to Eastgate Plaza. You can visit our nearby hut without an appointment. Nevada requires qualifying Clark County vehicles to pass a smog test each year. Check your renewal notice to see if your vehicle needs one.
First, we check in your vehicle. Light-duty gas vehicles from 1996 or newer get an OBD-II scan. Gas vehicles from 1995 or earlier get a two-speed tailpipe test. Some heavy-duty gas vehicles use that test too. We explain the result after the test. Nevada DMV gets the result by computer. If your vehicle passes, we can help with an eligible renewal at the hut.

Getting to Smog Busters Arroyo Grande & American Pacific from Eastgate Plaza
Getting from there to our shop is simple. Leave Eastgate Plaza and use Sunset Road. Then turn onto Arroyo Grande Boulevard. Our hut is near American Pacific Drive.
We are a testing-only station. We do not offer repairs or diagnostics at this hut.
- Leave Eastgate Plaza and head to Sunset Road.
- Travel west on Sunset Road toward Arroyo Grande Boulevard.
- Turn south onto Arroyo Grande Boulevard.
- The hut is on your left, just before American Pacific Drive.
The trip stays on local roads. Follow Arroyo Grande Boulevard toward American Pacific Drive.

Eastgate Plaza is a common stop for shopping and errands in Henderson. You can pair that trip with a nearby smog check. Our hut is on North Arroyo Grande Boulevard near American Pacific Drive. This keeps both stops in the same area.
A mid-morning trip, around 9 to 11 a.m., may work well. Traffic can change each day. Check your route before you leave. Walk-ins are welcome during open hours.
