When your vehicle passes, the result goes directly into the Nevada DMV database — electronically, on the spot. You receive confirmation and leave. If your registration renewal is also due and your paperwork is ready, that can be handled at the same station in the same visit. No second trip required.
1G Testing Station: What That Means for Your Vehicle
This is a 1G testing-only station. The test checks your vehicle’s emissions output against the Nevada standard for Clark County. The process is fast and most qualifying vehicles are finished in well under 15 minutes from the time you pull up.

You will get the test result information so you know what needs attention. This station does not offer smog diagnosis or repairs. The 215 Beltway is right there, which makes this an easy stop whether you’re coming from Silverado Ranch, Enterprise, the South Point area, east Mountain’s Edge, or south Paradise.
Weekday mid-morning — roughly 9am to 11am — tends to move the fastest, after the early rush and before lunch. Saturday mornings are busier than weekdays given how few nearby smog options exist in the south valley, so arriving before 9:30am on Saturday gives you the best chance of a short wait.
