Most Nevada DMV services now take an appointment, and the next opening can be two to eight weeks away. At our hut on Las Vegas Blvd N at Cheyenne, you skip that wait. If your registration is due, we renew it on the spot. You don’t need your renewal notice, since we look up your vehicle by its VIN, and the Nevada DMV mails your sticker. We also prepare and submit paperwork for title transfers, out-of-state registration, duplicate titles, plates, and handicap placards. If you qualify for a temporary moving permit, we can issue it right here. Physical titles come from the Nevada DMV by mail and can take about six weeks. Need a smog check first? The Smog Busters Las Vegas Blvd N hut sits on the east side of I-15, between Craig Rd and Cheyenne Ave on Las Vegas Blvd N. It’s parked in the Cash America Super Pawn lot, right next to LoanMax. Look for the small standalone Smog Busters hut, not the pawn shop building.
This location serves North Las Vegas drivers and the north side of Las Vegas, including the Las Vegas Blvd N corridor, Cheyenne Ave area, Nellis AFB area, Sunrise Manor, and nearby neighborhoods east of I-15. Drivers heading north out of downtown along Las Vegas Blvd N, or south from the north end of the valley, can pull in without taking a detour back across the freeway.
