Test and Register in One Visit Without a Second Trip to the DMV

If your vehicle passes, we can process your renewal during the same visit. The Nevada DMV mails your new tags to the address on file.

No Renewal Notice? We Can Still Find Your Vehicle by VIN

You do not need a paper renewal notice for your smog check. We can use your vehicle’s VIN to locate the record.

You’ll find the VIN on the door placard or window plate if you need to check it. A missing renewal notice will not prevent us from finding your registration record.
