Testing-Only Station for Qualifying Vehicles
Rainbow & Flamingo is a 1G testing-only location. Qualifying vehicles receive the standard Nevada emissions test. Diesel testing, smog diagnosis, and smog repair are not available at this station.

How Your Nevada Smog Check Works at This Station
Nevada requires a tailpipe test for older vehicles and an OBD II scan for most vehicles model year 2000 and newer. Both methods are available here. The station is state-certified, so the result is valid for DMV registration use the moment it is complete.
Your result transmits electronically to the Nevada DMV the moment your vehicle passes. No paper certificate to hold onto. If your registration is also due, it can be processed in the same visit. Your renewal sticker comes by mail directly from the DMV to your address on file. You leave with the smog check done and, if applicable, the renewal handled too.
What Vehicles Qualify
Many Clark County vehicles model year 1976 and newer require an emissions test before registration can be renewed. Most 2000-and-newer vehicles use the OBD II scan method. Older vehicles use the tailpipe test. If your renewal requires a smog check, plan to complete it at a certified station before your deadline.
