Private Party and Dealer Purchase Paperwork on Boulder Hwy
Most straightforward title transfers involve either a private party sale or a purchase from a standard dealership. Both can be handled at the Boulder Hwy & Basic hut without an appointment during business hours. Bring the signed title and any supporting documentation. The team can walk you through the paperwork and help identify what, if anything, is still needed to complete the transfer.
Insurance and Title Transfers
Insurance is not required for a title transfer alone. Insurance is only required when you are also registering the vehicle at the same time. If you are transferring title and registering the vehicle in the same visit, bring proof of current Nevada insurance. If you are only transferring the title without registering the vehicle right now, insurance documentation is not required for that step.
