Change of Address in Las Vegas
Update Your Nevada Vehicle Registration.
Nevada gives you 30 days after a move to update your vehicle registration address. Bring photo ID, vehicle details, and proof of your new address to any Smog Busters hut. We file the change. You do not need a DMV appointment. Most updates take 7 to 10 business days.
Update Your Nevada Vehicle Registration Address Within 30 Days

Nevada law gives you 30 days to report your new address. If you own more than one vehicle, update the address for each one. This change updates the address tied to that vehicle.
Your vehicle registration and driver’s license are separate state records. Changing one does not change the other. Smog Busters can update the vehicle record. A DMV office must handle a driver’s license, state ID, or Real ID change.
USPS mail forwarding sends mail to your new address. It does not update your DMV record.

If you move and leave the old address on your vehicle registration, the DMV may send renewal notices, decals, and other registration mail to your former home. Nevada gives you 30 days to report the change, and getting pulled over after that deadline could mean a costly ticket.
