at Rancho & Craig
Skip the Nevada DMV trip for the everyday paperwork. The Smog Busters hut on N Rancho Dr handles common vehicle-related transactions on a walk-in basis.
You’ll find this hut at 4428 N Rancho Dr, directly across the street from 7-Eleven and Dutch Bros Coffee. The team here is authorized to help with many common Nevada DMV transactions including registration renewal, standard title transfer paperwork, temporary moving permits issued on site when the transaction qualifies, duplicate or lost title help, plate paperwork, and handicap placard paperwork. Physical title documents are processed and mailed by Nevada DMV and may take approximately 6 weeks. Walk in during business hours. No appointment. If your situation has any wrinkles, give us a quick call first so we can tell you what to bring.
Find Us On The N Rancho Corridor
The Rancho & Craig hut sits on the west side of N Rancho Dr just south of Craig, on the same block as 7-Eleven and Dutch Bros Coffee. If you’ve grabbed a coffee on the way to the Cheyenne or Craig DMV office, you’ve already driven past us.

Pull into the lot, walk up, and the team can usually start your DMV paperwork right away.
Has Your Paperwork Got A Wrinkle?

Once in a while there’s something unusual in the file. If your situation isn’t routine, dial (702) 436-5346 before you head over and the team will tell you exactly what to bring.
One quick call beats a wasted round-trip.

Driver’s Licenses And State IDs
Driver’s licenses and state IDs are not handled at any Smog Busters hut, including Rancho & Craig. The Nevada DMV issues those directly. The Rancho & Craig team helps with vehicle-related Nevada DMV paperwork only.
What To Bring
The right paperwork makes the visit short. For most transactions, you’ll want:
- Your Nevada DMV notice or letter for the transaction you’re handling
- Current Nevada insurance information for the vehicle
- A valid government-issued ID
- Title or ownership documentation, if you’re doing a title transfer or duplicate title
- The vehicle itself, if your visit includes a smog check or if we tell you the vehicle needs to be present
- A valid form of payment for any Nevada DMV fees and Smog Busters service fees
Not sure what your specific transaction needs? Call (702) 436-5346 first. A few minutes on the phone can save a second trip.
Smog Check In The Same Stop
Most Nevada registration renewals require a passing smog check first. The Rancho & Craig hut also handles walk-in smog checks, and a passing result is sent to the Nevada DMV electronically, so the smog test and the registration renewal can usually be wrapped up in a single visit.
For a full walkthrough of smog checks at this location, see Smog Check at Rancho & Craig. Most Clark County vehicles model year 1976 and newer need a current passing smog test before the Nevada DMV will renew the registration. For Nevada-wide smog check locations, see Nevada Smog Check.
