Three Smog Check Huts From Sahara to Tropicana

Is a smog check holding up your registration? Clark County requires a yearly smog check for most cars and trucks from model year 1968 and newer before Nevada will renew them, and your renewal notice shows if your car is due. Getting into the DMV itself means waiting. Most DMV services are appointment-only now, and openings often run 2 to 8 weeks out at the four offices serving the whole metro. Our huts on Nellis, Flamingo and Tropicana skip that wait, since a smog check never needs an appointment.

What to Expect at Your East Las Vegas Smog Check

Your technician hooks up our analyzer, runs the emissions test your car needs and goes over the result with you before you leave. When the car passes, the record reaches the Nevada DMV before you pull out.

Smog Check Savings at the East Side Huts

Each east side hut has a way to save, but the deals are not the same at all three:

• Nellis & Sahara and E Tropicana & Morris: If you’re 55 or older, in the military, a veteran or a first responder, you get $3 off. Bring in a competitor’s coupon, and we’ll match it for up to $5 off. Any two of these discounts combined come to a maximum of $8 off.
• Flamingo & Sandhill: Our Manager’s Special sets a smog check at $19.99 cash, and you don’t need a coupon. While it runs, no other discounts apply at this hut.

• Nellis & Sahara: Sunrise Manor, Winterwood and the blocks along Nellis Boulevard.
• Flamingo & Sandhill: Paradise east of Eastern, along East Flamingo Road.
• E Tropicana & Morris: Whitney and the east side of Paradise, off Tropicana.

DMV Paperwork in the Same East Side Stop

Need more than a smog check? The same hut takes care of title transfers, duplicate titles, out-of-state registration, replacement plates and handicap placards too. If you hold a Nevada ID, we print temporary moving permits on site, and plates for a new registration come to your hut, where we call you to pick them up.
