Nevada DMV Paperwork Without the DMV Wait
This station is directly across Sahara Avenue from the Nevada DMV Sahara office. Most drivers who come in for a smog check and registration renewal never need to cross the street. Smog Busters handles both steps, and for most other standard transactions, the walk-in process here is faster than a state office visit.
Your paperwork is submitted to the Nevada DMV on the back end from this station. The state processes it on their side and handles the final steps. Registration stickers and personalized plates mail from the Nevada DMV directly to your address on file. Physical Nevada title documents, including title transfers and duplicate or lost titles, are processed and mailed by the Nevada DMV and may take approximately 6 weeks. Smog Busters submits the paperwork, but titles are not printed, held, or issued at the station.

Walk in during business hours. No appointment needed. The team will review your transaction and your documents, process the paperwork on site, and submit it to the Nevada DMV. State processing times vary by transaction type. Some completed items mail directly to your address on file. Physical Nevada title documents are processed and mailed by the Nevada DMV, not printed or held at the station.
For most registration renewals, the sticker mails to your address within a few weeks of the renewal being processed. For title transfers and duplicate or lost title paperwork, the physical title is mailed by the Nevada DMV to the owner’s address on file and may take approximately 6 weeks.
