What DMV Services Are Available in Central Las Vegas?
All Central Las Vegas Smog Busters locations handle the standard DMV services listed below. VIN inspections are available only as part of a qualifying full DMV transaction, not as a casual standalone service. For unusual title situations, court-ordered paperwork, out-of-state title issues, or reinstatement questions, call ahead at (702) 436-5346 to confirm what to bring and which location to visit.
Salvage and rebuilt title inspections are handled at E Sahara & Atlantic (the corporate location at 2711 E Sahara Ave) only. W Sahara & Valley View does not handle salvage or rebuilt title inspections. Call ahead before visiting for this service.
Vehicle Registration Renewal
The most common reason Central Las Vegas drivers come in. You can get your registration renewed in-store, including the required annual emissions test if your vehicle is due. Both locations are 2G certified, so smog and registration can be handled in a single stop.
Title Transfers
Standard title transfer paperwork is handled in-store. Your paperwork is processed and submitted to the Nevada DMV on your behalf. Physical Nevada title documents are processed and mailed by the Nevada DMV and may take approximately 6 weeks. Your tech will confirm which documents to bring.
Temporary Moving Permits
Temporary moving permits are issued on site at Central Las Vegas Smog Busters locations. Walk in during business hours with your vehicle, ID, and required paperwork. Call ahead only if your situation is unusual or your paperwork is incomplete.
Duplicate or Lost Title Help
Lost your vehicle title? Central Las Vegas Smog Busters locations can help you with the paperwork to request a duplicate title through the Nevada DMV. Your application is processed in-store and submitted directly to the Nevada DMV for fulfillment.
Handicap Placard Paperwork
Central Las Vegas Smog Busters locations process handicap placard paperwork in-store and submit it directly to the Nevada DMV. Bring the required medical certification form completed by your physician before your visit.
Plate Paperwork
Standard plate-related paperwork can be processed in-store. For personalized or specialty plate requests, call ahead at (702) 436-5346 to confirm what is needed.
Combine Your Smog Check and DMV Visit
Both Central Las Vegas locations are 2G certified smog stations as well as authorized DMV providers. Most drivers who come in for a DMV transaction also need their annual emissions test. You can get both done in the same stop — the smog check results are submitted electronically to the Nevada DMV, and your registration renewal is processed at the same counter.

Central Las Vegas Emissions Testing
Central Las Vegas is in Clark County, which requires an annual emissions test for most vehicles model year 1968 or newer. Your Nevada DMV renewal notice will indicate whether a test is required for your vehicle this cycle. If you are not sure, bring it in or call us at (702) 436-5346.
Both Central Las Vegas locations are 2G certified stations. Results are submitted electronically to the Nevada DMV at the moment your test is complete. If your vehicle does not pass, both locations have the capability to diagnose and repair smog-related issues on-site.
