Smog Busters is an authorized Nevada DMV agent. That means we file the same paperwork the DMV does, through the same state system, but without the wait. You walk in, we handle the forms, and you leave. No appointment, no ticket number, no sitting in a plastic chair watching numbers tick by on a screen.

We have 32 huts across Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas. Each one handles smog checks and DMV paperwork during regular business hours. Most visits take about 15 minutes. Some services, like a quick smog check, are even faster.

Whether it’s a registration renewal you forgot about until the last minute, a title transfer for a car you just bought, or a smog check for work, you can handle it the same day without planning ahead.

DMV Services You Can Walk In For

Here’s what we handle at every hut, no appointment required:

• Smog checks and emissions testing. Nevada-certified 1G and 2G testing. Drive up, test takes about 15 minutes, you leave with a pass or a clear explanation of next steps.
• Registration renewals. Bring your renewal notice or just your plate number. We file the renewal and the DMV mails your sticker.
• Title transfers. Buying a vehicle? Bring the signed title with all seller signatures completed correctly. Only the buyer needs to come to the hut.
• Temporary moving permits. Need to move an unregistered vehicle? We file the permit paperwork and the DMV issues it.
• Duplicate titles. Lost your title? Walk in with your ID and we file for a replacement.
• License plate replacement. Damaged, stolen, or missing plates? We file the replacement paperwork.
• DMV reinstatements. Registration suspended due to an insurance lapse? Bring your current insurance card and we file to reinstate.
• Out-of-state registration. Just moved to Nevada? We handle the smog, registration, and plates in one visit.

How a Walk-In Visit Works

Every hut works the same way. No surprises.

• Pull up or walk up. Park in the lot and come to the hut window. If you need a smog check, pull your car right up to the bay.
• Tell us what you need. We figure out which forms to pull, what the DMV requires, and whether you have everything you need to file today.
• We handle the paperwork (about 15 minutes for most services). You sign where needed, we verify your ID, and we submit to the DMV through our authorized agent channel.
• Drive off. For same-day services like smog checks and temporary permits, you leave with everything in hand. For services that go through the DMV (titles, plates, registrations), we tell you exactly when to expect your documents and whether they come back to the hut or get mailed to your address.

What to Bring

The basics for any DMV visit at the hut:

• Your Nevada driver’s license or state ID. Required for every DMV service.
• Your registration renewal notice (if you have it). Not required, but speeds things up.
• The signed title (for transfers). The seller signs the title before your visit. Only the buyer needs to come to the hut. No corrections or white-out on the title.
• Current insurance card (for reinstatements).
• Payment. DMV fees plus our service fee. Call for a current quote on your specific service.

Walk-In Locations Across the Valley

All 32 Smog Busters huts accept walk-ins during business hours. No exceptions.

Las Vegas: Summerlin, Spring Valley, Centennial Hills, Sunrise Manor, downtown along Las Vegas Blvd, the southwest corridor, Tropicana and the airport area, and the northwest off Fort Apache and Hualapai.

Henderson: Green Valley, Anthem, Silverado Ranch, Horizon Ridge, Boulder Highway, and the Volunteer Blvd area near the Raiders practice facility.

North Las Vegas: Cheyenne and Rainbow, Las Vegas Blvd North near Craig, and Rancho and Craig.
